Refund Policy

1. Scope

This Refund Policy applies to subscriptions and purchases made directly with ScaleVend for access to the platform. For refunds on orders placed through individual ScaleVend-powered stores, please refer to that store's return and refund policy.

2. Free Early-Access Period

ScaleVend is currently free to use during the early-access period. No payment is required and therefore no refunds are applicable during this period.

3. Paid Subscriptions

Once paid plans are introduced:

  • Monthly plans: No refund is provided for the current billing month after payment is processed. You may cancel at any time to prevent future charges — your store remains active until the end of the paid period.
  • Annual plans: A prorated refund may be issued for unused complete months if you cancel within 30 days of annual renewal. No refund is available after 30 days.
  • Add-ons or one-time purchases: Non-refundable once the service has been delivered or activated.

4. Exceptions — When We Will Refund

We will issue a full refund if:

  • You were charged due to a billing error on our part
  • The platform was completely unavailable for more than 72 consecutive hours due to our infrastructure failure, and this materially impacted your business
  • You were charged after successfully cancelling your subscription

Refund requests under these exceptions must be raised within 14 days of the charge by contacting support@scalevend.com with your account details and reason.

5. Cancellation Process

  • You can cancel your subscription at any time from your seller dashboard under Settings → Subscription.
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle.
  • After cancellation, your store will be deactivated but your data will be available for export for 30 days.

6. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days. Processing time may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.

7. Store-Level Refunds

ScaleVend is a platform provider, not a seller. We are not responsible for resolving disputes between store owners and their customers. If you are a customer who purchased from a ScaleVend-powered store, please contact that store's seller directly. If a seller is unresponsive and you believe there is fraudulent activity, contact us at support@scalevend.com and we will investigate.
